Hospital Assistance and Production
Chapter volunteers host ice cream socials and picnics and sew comfort items for patients at Lyons Veterans Administration Hospital and Morris View Nursing Home. These personal services reflect a long history of partnership between the American Red Cross and the military.
Through the generosity of our volunteers, we are able to touch people's lives in a very personal way, as a reminder that the community remembers and cares about the men and women who have served their country, as well as seniors living in our community.
